The Refinery Towers
Year of Creation: 2010 | Published: 2016-05-13 | Theme: death

Upon the darkening water the towers
stun in hissing clouds.
A gauze banner? A gas flare!
Garlands of lights, the city eager
to be taken
by petrolamorous towertines.
In the morning they drift on the bright water,
blurred edges, faded pipes,
the souls of the towertines drying on the wires.
