Welcome to www.epublisher-platform.eu – a website of an international project devoted to poetry. Here all registered users can publish their own poems for free.

Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions (hereinafter - Conditions). The Terms and Conditions shall form an Agreement between you and the website Administrator. By clicking the “I Agree” button you certify that you have carefully read, understood and accepted these conditions and agree to be bound by them.

1. General Provisions

  • Only registered and logged in users are allowed to submit their poems (and/ or the translations) to be published online on www.epublisher-platform.eu.
  • Only registered and logged in users can participate in discussions and access online training provided on www.epublisher-platform.eu.
  • Publishing of unethical, immoral, offensive, inappropriate or illegal content on www.epublisher-platform.eu is strictly prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to submit on www.epublisher-platform.eu the works (poems and/ or translations) authored by a poet / translator other than the uploader or otherwise violate copyright laws, save a specific permission is received from the author.  Any responsibility for any consequences of copyright infringement lies with the user who submitted the poem in question. 
  • Moral rights in the works (poems and/ or translations) published on www.epublisher-platform.eu belong to their authors.
  • The copyright of the www.epublisher-platform.eu’s design, graphics, original text, except for the works submitted by registered users, is owned by the ‘ePublisher’ project consortium. When citing material from this website, a reference to its original web address must be given following the standard requirements for citing internet sources.
  • The works published on www.epublisher-platform.eu can be used freely and free of charge for self-education purposes only. The texts of works published on www.epublisher-platform.eu cannot be used for any direct or indirect commercial purposes. The texts of works published on www.epublisher-platform.eu also cannot be used for non commercial purposes unless permission has been received from the “ePublisher“project consortium.
  • The www.epublisher-platform.eu administrator reserves the right to unilaterally block any user who does not follow these conditions and to eliminate from the website any work and/ or comment that does not comply with these conditions.
  • The www.epublisher-platform.eu administrator reserves the right to unilaterally amend or to complement these conditions.
  • The www.epublisher-platform.eu administrator cannot and will not be held responsible for any content in the posts published by users and reserves the right to edit any comment in case of infringement of these conditions and legal regulations. If you come across any prohibited comment or information www.epublisher-platform.eu, let us know by sending us an e-mail to info@sih.lt. The user assumes responsibility for the proper use of comments or other information published on www.epublisher-platform.eu.
  • In the event of potential infringement of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania or at the request of the legal enforcement authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, the www.epublisher-platform.eu administrator will communicate all the information available on the user and his/ her transgressions to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
  • The www.epublisher-platform.eu administrator, for objective and subjective technical reasons, assumes no responsibility for the continuous and uninterrupted operation of the website, for its safety from viruses, user mistakes or other harmful effects on the system. You fully understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the health and safety of your computer system.

2. Terms and conditions for submission of poems and/ or translations

By agreeing to these terms and conditions:

  • You agree to grant to the “ePublisher” project consortium a worldwide royalty-free, non-exclusive licence for an indefinite period to use your work (title of the work) to do and execute any of the following acts:
  1. publication of a work;
  2. reproduction of a work in any form or by any means;
  3. translation of a work;
  4. adaptation, arrangement, dramatisation or other transformation of a work;
  5. distribution of the original or copies of a work to the public by sale, rental, lending, or by any other transfer of ownership or possession;
  6. public display of the original or copies of a work;
  7. public performance of a work in any form or by any means;
  8. broadcasting, retransmission of a work, as well as communication to the public of a work in any other way, including  making it available to the public of a work over computer networks (on the Internet).
  • You certify that this submission (poem/ translation) is your original work and does not violate the copyrights of other authors. All the directly and indirectly used ideas of other authors are marked accordingly, providing links to sources;
  • You assure that this submission (poem/ translation) does not contain any information that could be considered unpublishable and/ or illegal;
  • You hereby declare that the copyright to the submission (poem/ translation) is not transferred to other parties, such as publishers;
  • You assume responsibility for your submission (poem/ translation) in its entirety, including but not limited to its linguistic and stylistic regularity.

3. Terms and conditions for submission of translations

By agreeing to these terms and conditions:

  • You agree to carry out a free of charge translation of the poem (enter here the author’s name and title of the poem in the original language) into the target language (English, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Finnish, Polish, other);
  • You undertake to carry out a professional translation of the poem, to avoid any kind of abbreviations, additions and other inaccuracies so that the translation would have the same meaning and intention as the original poem;
  • You agree to comply with the code of professional ethics for translators of literature relevant in your country;
  • You certify that this translation is your original work and does not violate the copyrights of other authors. All the directly and indirectly used ideas of other authors are marked accordingly, providing links to sources;
  • You assure that this translation does not contain any information that could be considered unpublishable and/ or illegal;
  • You hereby declare that the copyright to the translation is not transferred to other parties, such as publishers;
  • You assume responsibility for your submission (translation) in its entirety, including but not limited to its linguistic and stylistic regularity;
  • You agree that your translation can be edited by the administrator of www.epublisher-platform.eu without altering the essence of your work, without harming its style and quality and with no copyright infringement;
  • You agree to grant to the “ePublisher” project consortium a worldwide royalty-free, non-exclusive licence for an indefinite period to use your translation (title of the translation) to do and execute any of the following acts:reproduction of a work in any form or by any means:
  1. publication of a work;
  2. translation of a work;
  3. adaptation, arrangement, dramatisation or other transformation of a work;
  4. distribution of the original or copies of a work to the public by sale, rental, lending, or by any other transfer of ownership or possession;
  5. public display of the original or copies of a work;
  6. public performance of a work in any form or by any means;
  7. broadcasting, retransmission of a work, as well as communication to the public of a work in any other way, including  making it available to the public of a work over computer networks (on the Internet).
